Vittorio Dall’O, Restaurant and F&B Manager

Vittorio has spent the last 20 years working at the Villa San Michele, sharing his passion for wine, gastronomy and refined cuisine with every guest. Everyone warms to his constant smile and appreciates his attention to detail.

His career began in 1970 at the Hotel Excelsior in Venice, and continued at Hotel Suvretta in St Moritz, The Savoy, London, and back in Venice before he joined the Villa San Michele’s team as Maitre d’Hotel in 1986.
Vittorio’s love of gastronomy, together with his deep knowledge of wine, have more than qualified him for his role as our Food & Beverage Manager. His success can also be seen in his relationship with guests, who trust Vittorio to advise them on which dishes to choose, and the wines to accompany them.
Among Vittorio’s fondest memories is the time when comedian Roberto Benigni was staying at the Villa for a month, and went to the kitchen every morning to ask the chef to cook “l’ovetto fresco”—eggs the way his mother made them.
