'The Ultimate Florentine Experience' in collaboration with The International Kitchen

Number of lessons: 3  Duration of stay: 6 days and 5 nights

This year, The International Kitchen, creator of the "cooking school vacation", has included in its wide-ranging list of programmes a top-flight experience in Florence, in line with a philosophy that unites authenticity, cordiality and a personalised approach. 


Day 1: Upon arrival, meet the other course participants at a welcome cocktail reception and dinner.

Day 2: Meet the chef of Villa San Michele, Attilio Di Fabrizio and begin the first lesson in the kitchen, followed by lunch with all your fellow students, based on the specialities prepared that morning. The afternoon is spent shopping in the city’s finest boutiques, accompanied by a personal shopper. The evening is at leisure (dinner is not included in the programme).

Day 3: In the morning, take an excursion to Chianti: first to Greve in Chianti, where we stop for a cappuccino in the famous square. Continue to the Capannelle winery in Gaiole for a guided tour of the cellars and a tasting of the superlative wines. Lunch is enjoyed at the luxurious Capannelle farmhouse—a country-style menu served by our butler. Dinner is at leisure (not included in the programme).

Day 4: In the morning, enjoy the second lesson on traditional Tuscan cuisine at the Villa, followed by lunch based on the specialities prepared earlier. In the afternoon there is a very special lesson in fruit and vegetable carving and decoration of the table. Dinner is at leisure (not included in the programme).  

Day 5: Spend the day at leisure, before attending a spectacular, Renaissance-style dinner at Villa San Michele, featuring decor and dishes inspired by Caterina de Medici.

Day 6:  Say goodbye to the Villa and depart after breakfast.

€ 2.590 in a superior double room
€ 3.240 in a double room for single use
€ 2.450 for a non-participating companion

The price is inclusive of 5 nights, all the activities in the programme, the lessons, and all materials and necessary ingredients

Note: 10% VAT must  be added to all prices above. 

  • The Courses are reserved for Guests staying at Villa San Michele.
  • The lessons are held in English and Italian; other languages are available upon request.
  • The Courses are for a maximum of 10 participants and the approach is highly personalized.
  • The lessons are held in the morning (from 10.00 to 12.30) and/or in the afternoon (from 15.30 to 18.30). 
  • Hours not taken up by lessons and all the evenings are free.
  • At the end of every lesson, the dishes prepared will be served for a meal (lunch or dinner) to be enjoyed in the company of the Chef.
  • The complete list of the dishes taught during the lessons with recipes will be handed over upon arrival.
