'Active Gourmet goes Tuscan' in collaboration with Active Gourmet Holidays With the participation of: Attilio Di Fabrizio (Executive Chef at Villa San Michele)

Number of lessons: 2 • Duration of stay: 6 days and 5 nights
1st Day: Welcome cocktail to meet the other participants at the course, then dinner in the hotel’s restaurant with the other participants.
2nd Day: Meeting with the Chef of Villa San Michele, Attilio Di Fabrizio and the first lesson in the kitchen followed by lunch – all together at 1pm, based on the specialties prepared in the morning. In the afternoon, time to relax at the panoramic pool or go to Florence with the shuttle provided by the Hotel. Dinner at leisure, not included in the programme.
3rd Day: In the morning transfer to Florence by private van to enjoy a guided tour of Florence, Palazzo Pitti and the famous museum “Accademia delle Belle Arti”, where you will see Michelangelo’s David. Lunch is at leisure, not included in the programme. In the evening, a dinner a la carte in the Villa San Michele restaurant.
4th Day: Second lesson on traditional Tuscan cuisine in Villa San Michele with Chef Attilio Di Fabrizio during the morning, followed by lunch – all together at 1pm – based on the specialties prepared earlier. In the afternoon shopping in the city’s finest boutiques accompanied by a personal shopper. Dinner at leisure, not included in the programme.
5th Day:
The day is at your total leisure since lunch is not included in the programme. In the evening you will meet your School colleagues for cocktails and an unforgettable Renaissance-style dinner featuring decor and dishes inspired by Caterina de’ Medici, served and enlivened by waiters and musicians in costume.
6th Day:
Farewell to the Villa and departure after breakfast. Check-out from the room will be within noon. The Front Desk takes care of the luggage. Supplement for late check-out on request.
For their entire stay Guests will have at their disposal the boutiques of Florence (a mere 14 minutes away thanks to the hotel’s free private shuttle service that runs every 20 minutes), the pool and the gardens of Villa San Michele, and the exquisite cuisine of our top-flight restaurant, served in the Loggia or in the Cloister according to the weather and seasons. € 2.882 for a non-participating companion The price is inclusive of 5 nights in a superior room with full American buffet breakfast, welcome cocktail on the day of arrival, one dinner at the Hotel on the first and third evening and on the last evening and lunch at the Hotel after each morning lesson, including selected regional wines, the lessons, all materials and necessary ingredients. The quote for the non participating companion includes all the activities in the programme, excluding the Cooking Classes. Please enquire for additional night rates or supplements for room upgrade.
