Florence Marathon - 30th November

An important event for athletes and for the town. The route lies along entirely flat and well sign-posted tarmac roads within the town boundaries. Athletes who wish to participate must be over 18 years old and be current members of a legally recognised Sport Association.

The day after the marathon, a ceremony for the winners takes place in Piazza Santa Croce.
