Bride and bridesmaid can prepare for the event in their Suite, relaxing with in-room spa treatments and preparing with the assistance of our beauty and hair stylists. The marriage can be celebrated on the Villa's highest garden terrace, beside the infinity swimming pool, followed by a party in the beautiful Loggia with breathtaking views over Florence. Flowers & Decorations
The manicured Italian Gardens at Villa San Michele are blooming year round, and together with the centenary wisteria that covers an entire side of the hotel, are wonderful backdrops to your photos. Our wedding experts will help you choosing the perfect flowers to decorate the venue, the reception tables and for the bride’s bouquet. 
Equally important are the decorations – our team of specialists will be glad to give you ideas on how to personalize the venue, such as candles, balloons or fireworks in the garden – let your guests be totally surprised!
To capture the best moments of your day we can organize a professional Photographer or Video. From the bride's preparation to the emotions of the ceremony, the photographer will capture every instant worth remembering.

Reinaissance Wedding
Recreate the Reinaissance atmosphere that can still be breathed around Florence, and celebrate a wedding in true Medici's style. Our events team can set up the Villa with XVI century's decorations, organizing costumes for your guests as well as Reinaissance menu and music - it will be the most original wedding!
Garden parties
The beauty of our manicured italian gardens is the perfect set for your marriage. We can organize a blessing in the gardens, with the bride arriving directly from the Limonaia Suite - a cocktail by the infinity pool followed by the wedding dinner in the enchanting Loggia overlooking Florence.

Weddings in Italy
Civil Ceremonies: Ceremonies with civil validity may be celebrated in City Halls in every Italian city, at a town hall or palace, villa or garden.
Religious Ceremonies: Foreign citizens can be married in Italy according to Catholic rites in a catholic church. You will need to obtain the Nihil Obstat from your local diocese, signed by your bishop, to be married in an Italian parish. We can organise a celebrant for Protestant, Jewish or Orthodox rites to celebrate in a sacred location or hotel, villa or garden.
Symbolic Wedding: Consist of a blessing or a symbolic ceremony, it can be celebrated in any location.
