Corrado, Chef de cuisine at Hotel Splendido, has the spirit of a Travel Agent. Cuisine is travelling to him. Travelling in different countries, streets, restaurants, in the kitchens with their many perfumes, to discover or rediscover tastes of the different gastronomic regions.
Born in Lombardia, he sailed many seas and delighted many palates, before docking at Hotel Splendido in 1999. He manages a brigade of 22 people with the strength of a lion, and sometimes roars as well but only because he’s a perfectionist. And it has to be, because at La Terrazza Restaurant, attention to details and perfect combination of flavours, taste and look is essential. He is totally dedicated to Italian cuisine, with an emphasis on traditional ligurian dishes, rigorously prepared with fresh and local ingredients.
