Born in Australia to Italian parents, Carolina began her career in housekeeping in various luxury hotels in London, before moving on to Cortina, in the Dolomite mountains.

Next stop was her new role as housekeeper at Villa San Michele. She instantly fell for the magic of this green oasis of woods and flowers a few minutes from the centre of Florence.

She loves the Villa's "family" feel, and the close relationships she has built up with guests. As housekeeper, she sees her daily challenge as going the extra mile to surprise and pamper everyone who comes to stay—and to help them appreciate the beauty and special pleasures of Villa San Michele too.
